About Single Course

Who's This Course For

Designed for a skin care professional to learn about what causes acne and how to treat it.

Even today, as progressive as the skin care industry has become, acne remains one of the most common skin concerns of men and women of every age and one of the most difficult to improve.

To treat any condition, you must first understand what it is and what causes it. And to do that, you must clearly understand its physiological characteristics.

When working with acne, a professional must know the physiology of the skin as it pertains to cell renewal, such as:

  • The five epidermal layers and the pilosebaceous unit
  • The four etiological factors of acne
  • The factors that influence the four etiological factors

Learn how to treat acne by understanding what causes it. In this class, you’ll learn about the physiology of acne and its treatment options.
